The LifeSize Room 220 is the most powerful HD-videoconferencing room system in the HD-series from LifeSize. It is equipped with an integrated, 8-way Multi Control Unit (MCU) and runs full-HD resolution of 1920x1080p at just 1.7 Mbit/s in multipoint operation. In Continuous Presence Mode, up to eight participants can be connected into a video conference, up to four of them can be displayed simultaneously. The LifeSize Room 220 is designed to be connected to two displays. This makes it possible to display presentations, calculations, blueprints, etc., simultaneously along with your video conference, increasing your work productivity. Combined with an optional ISDN-module, the LifeSize Room 220 can connect the IP and ISDN videoconference domain together within a videoconference.
Through especially powerful, highly-calculative image processing algorithms, the LifeSize Room 220 produces captivating HD-quality even at relatively low bandwidths. Loss-free transfer of all video and audio files in the chosen output media are guaranteed through purely digital data processing.
The LifeSize Phone 2nd Generation or LifeSize MicPod microphone can be connected to the system, as well as various HD-camera systems. Through its intuitive operation and compatibility with other systems, the LifeSize Room 220 sets itself apart from videoconferencing systems offered by other manufacturers.
