Sony PCS XG-100

The PCS-XG100 video conference system is the most powerful system in Sony’s product portfolio. It offers brilliant image quality with 1080p/60 full-HD resolution. No less impressive it’s the transfer quality of contents shared parallel to running a videoconference, like presentations, Excel-files, etc. (Full D 1080p/30)

With the optional MCU-Software PCSA-MCG109, the PCS-XG100 offers the possibility to run multipoint video conferences with up to 9 (8+1) locations simultaneously. With a tandem connection of two PCS-XG100 systems it is possible to link up to 16 endpoints together into a videoconference.

By default, the Sony PCS-XG100 is shipped with the Sony SRG-120DH camera with 12x zoom. As an alternative, the PCS-XG100S codec can be shipped with the Sony SRG-300HW (white) or the SRG-300HC (black) camera, which even feature a 30x zoom. Another interesting feature of the Sony PXS-XG100 is that images and files can be displayed on up to three monitors simultaneously (Triple Monitor Mode) through two HDMI outputs, as well as a single DVI output. They can also be split into three spaces within a single monitor (Single Monitor Mode)

Another great feature of Sony video conference systems is the possibility to save the videoconference as well as contents shared during the videoconference onto a 32GB-Sony USB-stick. This way you can save the data and view them from your PC. The maximal recording time is 4 hours at a bandwidth of 1024 kbps and 8 hours at 512 kbps. Additionally, system configurations, including the telephone book, can be saved and accessed through the USB stick. Firmware upgrades can also be performed while saving current firmware versions.
