The Multi-channel VPN Router 500 is optimal for ultra-mobile operation. It enables high bandwidths almost everywhere as well as failsafe data connection. Through four built-in UMTS/HSPA+/EDGE modems (also available with other fittings, for example LTE or CDMA). This guarantees the optimal use of mobile bandwidths.

The advantages of the Multi-channel VPN Router 500 lie in its low energy consumption and its robustness. At peak power, it requires merely 15 watts. It is constructed with no moving parts, so that it withstands noises and environmental temperatures from -10 to 45 °C differently from other routers. It also possesses an ultra-resistant chassis. SIM-cards from various cellular service providers can be placed into its four removable card-holders. They can also be used across national borders and be swapped out during operation. This makes it possible for the Multichannel VPN Router 500 to provide quick, fallout-proof data connections from grid-bound internet access points, even outside of the coverage area. An integrated WLAN access point with 2.5 or 5 GHz (dual-band) furthermore the available bandwidths to any user.

This way, the Viprinet Multi-channel VPN Router 500 enables the connection of events, a real-time video transmission via broadcasting station in “backpack-format” as a replacement for a broadcasting vehicle or even encoded connection of emergency vehicles (police cars, fire trucks, military vehicles and ambulances).

It is powered by an external power cable with an IEC mains connector with wide-range input (100-240V, 50-60HZ).
